Hi, my speedometer stops working at random times. I just got a handheld code reader with live data monitoring and it shows no speed reading through the obd port.
So my guess is that it must be the speed sensor or the wiring from the sensor to the ecu that is at fault?
Any suggestions to how to diagnose the situation further?
Any tricks?
Thanks!

I thought the speed sensors were at the wheel, make sure the connector is not corroded/oxidized.

I discovered I had no speed reading last week. I found out while data logging via FastWorks.
Turns out there was a break in a wire between the abs module and the ecu connector.
I think your abs fault light on your dash will light if your wheel sensors are not plugged in. I had no abs warning light.

How did you test it, and which wire was it?
I have no abs light on so you might be right on the money.
Was the break in the center tunnel section or on the module or ecu side?
Thanks for the input!
