I'm planning to add some DIY side skirts to my 2005 Elise and that involves drilling some holes in the fiberglass underbody and placing some Well Nut inserts (shown in photo). Before I go wild with the drill I figured I should anticipate Mr. Murphy and see if there is any critical underlying anatomy that I need to avoid.
I don't want to cut into any oil or electric lines for instance so I will start by using a drill stop. Does anyone know this part of the Elise anatomy well enough to give advice? (2005 with twin oil coolers)
Thanks
