My dealer in Boston was told the Elise at the NY autoshow will have the external modifications of the Fed Elise but the Rover drivetrain. He is supposed to get it for a short time following the show. If this is true I'm disappointed. I've driven the 111S. I want to drive the Croft.

There may be more than one elise there, since my understanding is that the display is dealer-sponsored....

HRM sez US Spec Lotus there

Hunting Ridge motors (Mark Starr), my dealer, sez that there will a US spec Elise there along with a lot of Lotii on the last Sunday of the show.

If there is a Fed Elise I hope it makes it up to Boston.

well, i don't feel sorry for you. the Houston autoshow won't have a US version either.

Maybe that's because it starts 4 days after the press event at LCUSA.
