I was just talking to some stiffs in a miata chatroom that I visit off and on while at work and home...and started thinking maybe it would be cool to have a Lotus chatroom?
Sometimes its cool to talk real time with people. Ive seen IRC chatrooms used for boards and Ive also seen AIM chatrooms.
Just for giggles I'll open an ELISETALK chatroom on AIM.
If you have AIM, simply click on chat, in the window where it asks who you want to invite type in your own name, and in the window where it asks what room type in ELISETALK.
Just thought I'd give it a shot. I'll leave it open with me in there...my AIM is on all the time. If you can, come on in and say hello and check back from time to time until you can catch someone talking.

I'd rather not use anything of AOLs. If you go with a standards based chat like IRC then let me know
