Yup. Situational awareness & anticipation beat any 'risk' from frequency of use & color choice in my book.

I'm planning on driving it to work on anyday that the weather permits and tickles my fancy!

As many days as possible of driving in the summer. And she'll hibernate all winter.:)

Plan to alternate between that and my motorcycle.

When the weather's really bad, I'll ride the motorcycle, go figure!

I will probably let my wife drive it during weekdays (while I drive my VW diesel :) ) and I will drive it on weekend or on track days.

I will also be using it as my daily driver, though there will still be some level of competition between the elise and my ducati. Coming from a Boxster S.

If my 14-year old Miata dies, the Elise will be my only car and certainly my daily driver (and I put on @20,000 miles per year). While the Miata holds up, I may prefer to drive it in the rain and to and from the subway station on work days. I'm not sure though, since I've never had 2 cars at the same time before. I may have a hard time convincing myself to drive the Miata and leave the Elise behind.

i'm currently driving a '99 Miata as my daily ride, will be selling that for the Elise. I'd love to keep the Miata (it's been a great little car), but I need the garage space, not to mention the $$$.

Me

I will drive it everyday. Unless it rains then I drive the Honda Accord. But this is Southern California, it hardly ever rains. I think life is too short not to drive this car everyday : )
