245-17s work very well on the rear, with an 8" wheel.
225-16s fit on the front with 7" wheels, but look odd.

Did you leave the Yoko Advan Neova AD08 of the list for some reason?

They come in 225 for the rears but only in 205 for the front, but I understand they will fit the OEM LSS rims and not rub the wheel well liners.

I'm looking into the 215/45 and 245/40 combination on my cup wheels. The diameters are very close to the original A048's.

I didn't see any 245/45R17s in the list. These tend to be tall but most of them fit the 7.5" rims which makes them a feasible choice for stock wheels.

Never used 245s but was advised against them by much more experienced mechanics and racers due to the rubbing on the inside edge during hard cornering, likely even more of a concern in 45 height. Probably should remove all from the list but some like the looks...

Tirerack also sells Sumitomo htr z II in 205/50/16 and 225/45/17 for $298/4. Ultra high performance summer tires. I just picked up a set. So far they seem better than the Kuhmo's and General's in oem sizes and similiarly priced. They are 19 and 22lbs new so pretty light.

Not sure what the following all means (but the numbers and kg I understand) but they are the lightest forged wheels and wide enough to handle most tires.
They fit good and the car feels significantly better with them and the weights and widths were as advertised (which is a nice change compared to Rotas).
