We used an epoxy compound to fill the gap, you could use
fiberglass filler if you want. Just make sure you prepare
the surface so the filler bonds properly. The gap serves
no purpose but to show where the 2 panels
join. Makes no difference in front clam removal.
Just makes things a little cleaner.
