I ordered a set of angel eye LED rings from "t-revo-r" on eBay, and found some nice covers so they will diffuse better. I couldn't find any thread on these during the routine search, but wondered if anyone tried them before? I'm most likely going to customize them to give them an updated look before installing them. I'll have to find a thread on how to install these halos also. Pics!

I have the same rings from Trevor, but have yet to install them. Would love pics of your car with the diffusers. Fitment might be an issue if you have the rings that were retrofitted to prevent burns in the acrylic headlight covers.

Cool

I'm very interested in your finished job, please post pictures.

I would just splice them into power from the headlights or the side marker lights. And just use hightemp black rtv for holding them on.

Thanks

those are the same covers i used, and they hold up just fine. its very simple and cheap plastic covers and you pretty much get what you expect, no surprises. I did cover some selections and choices recommendations from my thread

I'll deep dive that thread in a few minutes. I appreciate the help! I'm considering trimming these down so they sit more flush.

As elegant as your assertion is, realize that this is also to replace the barely perceptible DRL, and these rings actually connect to where the measly little bulb is located. Also, this looks pretty good:

LOL I think it looks awesome Coyne, thanks for the pic and the links. I don't like when people just attach those LED strips anywhere and everywhere that looks like tacky Civic sh*t

But this brings our car in line with the new Audi's and such, IMHO
