Sweet. When does this air? I may set up to do a video capture and provide a divx file if people are interested. Let me know.

Judging by the other cars on the set, the website, and the network involved, I'm sure the only thing we'll get out of it is one more media outlet to make fun of for appealing to the "bling" crowd :p

It airs May 9th at 10:00pm -- but it's cable so it'll be running all month. Tune in.

As soon as we're done with the editing, I'll upload a divx from the digital master. Save your drive space at home for porn. ;-)

As the Executive Producer, non-"Bling-Bling" Ferrari owner, Vintage 911 racer and car-geek -- no, it's not a bling-bling fest. Sure it covers rice and bling -- but there's healthy doses of exotics, trucks, hot-rods, muscle cars and other crazy stuff like moon rovers, bond cars and lots of stuff in between.

If I had my way, it'd be a different show, but got to remember that there are LOTS of viewers who think NASCAR is the ultimate and aspire to one day own a boat, I mean Corvette...

Check the results of polling on http://www.52favoritecars.com and you'll see what I mean!

LOL !! Why isn't the Elise in the "sports car" category?!? It's an outrage!!!
To be perfectly honest, I figured that not enough people in the US would know what an Elise is and I did not want it to get beaten -- we've got to ins & outs with Tyrese IN the Elise, so it should create an awareness of the thing -- and hopefully make the car known for next January when...

Oh no, I've said too much.

Yea those polls show exactly what I feel is wrong with the general public as far as automotive taste goes. I'll check out the show when it's on... hopefully what you say is true and it isn't as "bling" as I'm expecting it to be. Any possibility of getting a copy of it with the SUVs edited out? ;)

Hope krypton green works out for you.

Honestly Mike, I've read a lot of your comments on how you believe people should act, what they should like, and how the world should be. While I don't necessarily disagree, without the mainstream and without the apparent lack of taste in yours eyes, where would the connoisseur be? Being different is good. To some extent, I'm glad some people enjoy their bling bling SUVs, Charles Shaw wine, rap music, Sears clothing etc. Without things like that, the items that reflect better taste wouldn't be special, but ordinary. This same principle is what makes many forms of electronica infinitely superior to say, Britney Spears.

Ok I voted for the Liz, but to tell the truth I'ld take a Vanquish over the Liz any day! Erh who in their right mind wouldn't, or a 575 for that matter.

But isn't the Vanquish a 2+2 and not 2 seaters.

Techincally, but I'd like to see anyone try the back. One good option is the rear seat delete which turns the back into a parcel shelf.

Wow! Someone who works in New York City who actually knows about cars!!! I figured you guys either took cabs or the subway -- or Lincoln Town Cars.

Just kidding. ;)

I only formed this opinion after seeing two Conde Nasty pubs butcher no-brainer sports car coverage. GQ did an article on the Carrera GT but ran a picture of a Boxster (ouch!), and Cargo did a cover with the Elise, but called it front-engined in the internal copy. I guess this is what happens when you have artsy-fartsy types making editorial decisions.

So where exactly does one rip through gears in an Elise in NYC? Along the footpaths of Central Park!?
