2005 Elise in five years and lets say it has 70,000 miles then... What do you think the price would be worth?

Depends on if Lotus still exists... and if the new Elise is here.

I'm thinking that what we have on our shores now is the last we'll ever see from Lotus. In that case, the values will probably be the same as what they are now. $25-28k for an average car and $30k+ for a really nice one.

40k on the car now fully loaded and hardtop. 27ish its worth... Im thinking of buying a daily driver, 370z for even the snow.

I honestly cant see it going up too much if any. But the price of aftermarket parts (clams, etc.) will rise if Lotus tanks....

But I agree, this is a car to keep forever.... I plan to run the engine into the ground, then replace it with a v6. And have a blast.

What engine? I'd like to see this! sounds good to me if you come up with a way to fit it in there. Need a better tranny too.
