Does anyone know if the rear galvanized engine subframe is interchangeable between the S1 and the 400?

Sorry, no direct experience. Looking at the part numbers and compatibility info on parts sites, I would think it's not a direct replacement. S1 updated part # H132A0012J, 400/410/430 part # C132A0605J.

Curiously the S1 part new looks to be a bit more expensive than the 400 part - salvage/used may be the way to go if you're in need of one.

Their was a lot of cost reduction engineering done on the 400's Im not sure these doesn't fall into that catagory.

Bottom line suspension points, engine mounts and tie in points to the main chassis have not changed so the parts may well be interchangeable.

For example the main chassis bolts and intermediary shim palms are the same PN's between Series 1 and $xx cars, as is the under tray shear plate and rear clam is also the called out as the same PN but admittedly a different Rev. Number. S1 A to F on 400's, bumpers are oblivious different, and use different brackets to subframe but such hardware is interchangeable between the submodels. so again much have common attachment points.
