The last week of August and first week of September I made a road trip to Portland. This all started when I showed up at a couple Club Lotus North West meetings. They announced their annual track day at Portland International Raceway. I decided to drive the car up and join them. Very quickly the plan expanded to include a total of three track days, a three day float down the Deschutes River, and three hikes.

I'm still working on the videos. I hope to have three time lapse videos as well a video for each track. Once I get them uploaded I'll post a reply to this thread. In the mean time, here are links to my blog entries.

Epic liked the EBR bit as I sometimes work in nuclear facilities. Nifty I was just in Portland this summer and wished I had my Elise with me. Mt. Hood was neat especially Trillian lake.

I can;t open your videos, as they are blocked where I currently live and work. There are great twisty roads in the coastal range, around Mist, Vernonia, Clatskanie, Timber, and other little places all around. Pretty fun.

I've done a few Lotus Club track days at PIR. Pretty fun. Too much straightaway for my Seven and Cortina. But fun.
