Screw work. Blew it off and took a day trip with the neighbor on his motorcycle through the southern portion of upstate, NY. We hit Swain, had lunch on a mountain top at a small restaurant, and tore up through some wicked roads. Twisties and hills all day long. Being a Monday ensured we'd have the"place" to ourselves and we sure did. The Esprit ran like a freegin top....even with the heat pounding down. Never skipped a beat. I got some photos of our stops but not many driving since I needed both hands on the wheel! :D

What can I say? It was awesome. We have a few more planned too for this fall which will be even better. And, funny thing happened: When we stopped at Swain, a few minutes went by and a Rent a Center truck pulled up near where we were parked and two guys got out and said - "We just had to stop and see the Lotus". I was like YES! They KNEW what it was. I didnt get the usual "What kind of *insert Italina car brand here* is that?" question! They knew exactly what it was and even said that "Colin Chapman would be happy to see the car tearing up through the mountain roads".

They said that they heard me beep at some kids that waved at the neighbor and I and they jumped in the truck hoping to catch us. They knew the "European horn sound" and were trying to catch us! Hilarious! Made me day though.... trying to find us just to get a look at the Esprit. SWEET! :coolnana:

Color me green with envy as I sit here at my desk at work, (lunch time of course), while my Esprit sits lonely and unattended in the parking lot.
Car looks good and glad to hear that you made the most of it......Ferris ;-)
