Oh man, those eBay faces are all missing the style line to the left and right of the LOTUS stamp. I actually really like that line for some reason. The 400s don’t have that line, and I would miss it if I upgraded to one.

Out of curiosity, which color were you thinking of going with since you can’t change the color of the two red side gauges?

In terms of uninstalling, you might be able to get at it from the back. The leather covered panel that is very curved is only held in by Velcro and can easily pull off. The flat leather covered panel beneath that is screwed in from inside the dash (ask me how I know...). You can unplug the gauges by taking off the round leather cover, but I don’t know how to unscrew the gauges from their home, but if you pull that cover you might be able to find a screw or two.

Hahaha yea that ebay face! Lol And I was thinking of getting it in green since it looks somewhat close to British racing green. Thanks for the tips, I'm going to take a look when I get it back from the tuning garage!

Refer to Lotus Service Notes, check Lotus HowTo section at top of this forum. VE7 shows removing curved dash top by pulling up forward end free from velcro and unhook the rearward end. This gives access to back of instrument pack. Remove the bottom 2 screws on back side, next after removing LHS and RHS switch panels remove the screw on each side of front face, remove LH and RH screws from from facial panel positioned below gauge cluster under side info panels, pop down upper molding of instrument pack from behind facial trim, remove 2 screws from top back side , pull panel forward and unplug harness connectors. Now Lotus say the pack is unserviceable so cut open at own risk.

Interested in doing this myself but don't know where to begin to take the speedometer out, and then ultimately apart to change the face. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks guys! :clap:
I actually pulled mine completely a part on my 2010. I followed the service notes like @Julian73 said, but had to disassemble mine since the rubber coating was flaking something fierce. Once you have it out, there are clips all the way around the cluster, and if you take your time, are gentle, and have enough flat head screw drivers/patience, it comes a part. I believe there is a hard stop internal to each gauge, so lining the needles back up isn't that tricky (mine were off a couple hundred RPM front the factory). Also, if you have an early car, I believe 2011 or prior, look up the cluster gauge buzz/cluster inoperative fix (I don't have the thread off hand). There is a ground solder joint that can crack and cause the aforementioned issues. I should've re-flowed the solder while mine was a part. Anyway, good luck!
