I'm 6' even and in the furthest forward mounting position for the seat that comes with the '07 Cup I have to drive with the tips of my toes, my arms fully extended. Tried mounting the stock Exige seat rails but the Cup car has two eyelets just to the outside of each of the rear rail mounting holes. These eyelets are used as mounting points for the lap harnesses and are in space the stock rails would need if they were going to fit. I'd like to find a solution that gets a seat further forward (can be fixed position) and doesn't require the removal of the eyelets. Anyone else have this issue and a solution? Perhaps a good universal side seat mounting bracket? I've got a narrower seat, now I just need to be able to mount it further forward. Thanks.

robert,
how much further forward do you think you need to be?
you definately want your arms bent when driving, the pedals can be addresses seperately from the arm issue i would think.
just asking before i try to think of a solution.

Two or three inches would be ideal. The stock rails would have easily accomplished that if they fit.
