Yesterday I went to open the access panels on the front of my elise, and I noticed that most of the hex key bolts were stripped out in the center requiring me to strip them out further to get them out. Also, the various interior hex key bolts I removed to get the shifter binnacle out were also stripped out, as were the ones on the shifter and parking brake handle.

My question is: does anyone know what size and pitch bolts these are so I can replace these? I'd love not paying $5 a bolt at the dealership, and I have a seller on amazon I've used that would likely stock these, though I'd need to know the sizes. Thanks,

Take the ones in question down to your local Ace Hardware. Near the loose fasteners they will have a fitting gauge and you can test fit each screw in the gauge. Then you can buy Stainless metric fittings there. I practically built an entire car using the Racing Car department at my local Ace hardware...
