I just got a set of the Lotus Sport cup car wheels from Mark Starr. He gave me a good price (far less than the $6k you were quoted), and he's a pleasure to deal with. You can reach him at 914 217-4817.

What kind of factory wheels are you looking for? There are the standard wheels, the original LSS wheels, the newer narrower LSS style wheels, CUP Wheels, Euro Exige Wheels, and the new Elise SC wheels. All available from the factory in some combination of silver, black, and gold. All different prices.

Im not looking for anything fancy, just wheels for an extra racing set. As long as they arent horrendous, I dont care what they look like. I just want them to hold up on the track on an exige S240.

I can't believe I'm doing this, 'cause I HATE Rota wheels, but the Slipstreams seem to be popular, aren't prone to cracking, come in Elise/Exige sizing, and are as cheap as the dirt that made them. Just do a search on Rota Slipstream and you'll have all the information you can handle.

In that case you need the wider wheels for appropriate track rubber. And if you want to really appreciate the Lotus engineering you paid for lighter wheels are better :)

OEM options are as follows:

Euro Exige

Front 16x6.5 - 8.8kg
Rear 17x7.5 - 9.8kg

Exige LSS

Front 16x6.5 - 5.5kg
Rear 17x7.5 - 7.0kg

Lotus Sport Cup

Front 16x7 - 6.1kg
Rear 17x8 - 8.1kg

As of right now, at hangar111 they are 1360.00 GBP plus 79.10 GBP for shipping to the US which is a grand total of $1988.40. Not too bad.
Yeah, I always find Hanger 111 cheaper than anyone out there, even after the S&H. They have pretty much everything, too -- both OEM and after-market.
