I see you're from the bay area...

In any case there are better cars to fall in love with for 0-60.

LOL well that's the way out of mount hamilton road. It was all foreplay there and then the driver got hooked at that stop light :)

It's not really the 0-60 time, it's the way it feels and sounds i think did it.

Anyway, the driver bought his own Elise a month after that and love is still going strong :p

For me it's not the 0-60 but when the VVT-i kicks in with the sound and the feel of that extra kick in the pants... however small it may be relative to other big power cars.
Really? It kinda bothered me that they designed it with less "area under the curve" than they should have, and then make you buy their "sport" ECU to fix it.

there are 3, I think, chips for sale that not only lower the cam change rpm but add a bit more hp than the lotus sport ecu.

Big difference and easier, better to drive when change is @ 5600 rpm.

Avoids the huge drop-off valley.

You can look for my post about PES Experience, but I'd buy from a diff vendor.

Let's hope he gets the hang of the clutch. I hate to hear the engine rev prior to a clutch engagement. Poor thing.
