The cooling/heating fan stopped working in our 2005 Elise. The fuse is fine and the A/C clutch engages...the fan control does not turn the fan on. Any thoughts on where to start looking???

I tried to upload the pdf of the wiring diagram. anyway c1 fuse is 20 amp then the switch then a connector then the blower. Thats it

you may not be checking the right fuse

C1 is in passenger footwell

If the fuse is OK then it may be the Blower Motor Resistor Pack which is known to corrode. Unfortunately, it is a clam off job to replace.

My owners book shows the fuse under the front passenger side removable cover plate just above the A/C. I'll check the footwell, that could make this an easy fix???? Is that possible in a Lotus????

The Elise is very user friendly - even repair friendly. For the most part, there are not many things to go wrong. YMMV

Found it right where it is supposed to be and it is OK...So it appears I have to dig deeper.
