Feeler: 1974 Lotus Elite 502

I bought the car about 6 years ago from Texas. I was using the car as a daily driver until my Elise arrived and then moth balled the car with the intent to do a ground up restoration. Unfortunately, after my accident, I was unable to do the work myself. I've lost storage space for the car and it deserves a good home with a caring new owner.

The car has AC which worked very well.

The car has sat now for about 4 years. It was running when it was parked with a slight oil leak from the engine but I was using the car on a daily basis so nothing terrible. The pull handle for the hatch is broken. There was a rub on the passenger side rear bodywork while it was in storage. The paint on the roof has peeled while in storage as well. The vacuum on the lights had a small leak so when the car was turned on the lights went down but over night, they would creep up. clutch linkage had just been replace as had all the tires prior to storage. The car is missing the rear wiper motor. All interior electrics worked including the dome lights. I had the drive shaft seals replaced. I also had brake work and suspension members replaced. Overall the car is very original and a good solid project.

A factory shop manual is included as well as various articles and magazine write-ups on the model.
