Thanks for the video.

Saw my first Alpine A110 on the street the other day. Pretty sure it was the vintage car from the '60s. Also saw a Saab Sonett V4. California lockdown. Nothing to do but drive 'em if you got 'em.

I'm a fan of both cars but my impression is that the extra .4 of a second the A110 requires to circulate a track is compensated for by the Alpine's superior comfort and sophistication. If you want the best open car driving experience your decision might favor the Elise. If you want something to drive every day, you would logically opt for the Alpine.

It's sadly entirely academic for Americans.
