The seller wants a 10K refundable deposit if for the buy it now option.
Is that common?

That car is worth at least 40K.
It's a steal at that price. It's clear from the
car's description that the seller has no knowledge
of the car.

It has 5 car fax reports.

0 seller feedback, a price that is about 10-15k too low....a 10k deposit...umm no thanks!

The car is listed elsewhere (with the same scammy listing) with a "wamgr323" Gmail address.

Googling it comes up with an older Tesla forum thread where the same person was fake-selling a Roadster.

Beware any car sold by "wamgr323", I guess!

He's got 2 other listings. One for a 2008 Corvette Z06 for $32k and the other for a 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser for $26k. All require a $10k deposit.

My guess is he's looking to score $30k and quickly. Once the Paypal goes through he'll withdraw the cash and close the fraudulent bank account he has associated with it. Then it's adios suckers!
