We keep seeing F1 cars coming up on cars a bit ahead of them and the leading car crashing into those and/or running them off the track.

You need to know that those cars are in the “blind spots” of the leading drivers, who cannot turn their head easily or enough due to safety concerns.

We don’t want to see crashes or cars retired. So, why is there no “blind spot warning” on F1 (and other) cars, when one can get those in Civic?

F1 cars are known to be a tad expensive. Why risk a crash or DNF?

Large colored lights are all we need, not screens, so no valuable cockpit space need be wasted.

In lieu of this solution, we need really, REALLY, REALLY loud horns in F1.
