My driver's side headlight was flickering, just as described in this LRC post: http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f286/headlights-working-intermittently-87010/
However the fix there was not enough for me. What I did additionally was pop the white cover off the inside of the female side of the connector (the one attached to the headlight), exposing the female spade connectors in it. I then used a very small screwdriver to bend them tighter, so they grip the male spades tightly. This solved the problem.

If you read that LRC post, you can see the connector is clipped to some oil cooler shroud. However on my car the front clam comes too close to the location where it should be clipped to, so securing the connector there isn't possible. Of course the lotus solution to this it just just leave it dangling :rolleyes:. I ziptied it to the oil cooler line, so now it shouldn't move around anymore, which is what I imagine caused the weakening of the connector contact in the first place.
