Here are some pics of my 'new' '05 Elise. Yes, it's in the rain. Relax, most of you may have noticed it's plastic and aluminum - and they'll make more. The Jags in the garage are made of 'Pre-Oxide', so they will remain under cover (although I've driven the silver one in monsoon conditions).

Very nice. Dont the Softops leak sometimes in the rain?
Not so much, but the boot lid is known for leaking into the boot when the car is parked facing down a slope.

Fortunately this one doesn't seem to leak (8 hours into a substantial downpour). Plus, I'm used to 60s era Jags. The hardtop models leak! I hope to sell the Jags and the Lotus will then just have to share the garage with a Scalextric slot car track.

More Jag E-type Pics

Here are a few more pics of my E-type as requested (taken immediately after my first test drive in a Lotus). If anybody comes around here waving $45K in my face, I might be tempted to let it go.

I halfta say, I really like you Lotus folks. You're appreciative of Heritage and this is also the classiest online forum outside of Jag-Lovers.org - Everywhere else I lurk is overrun with illiterate lowlifes who really make you wonder how people must view you by your choice of car.

Classy stuff there, I think I can speak for all of us, when I say the feeling is absolutely mutual.

I dunno about that. I've seen jag-lovers.org decend into the depths, personally, before. Or maybe that was back when they were just "jagtalk".

I only frequent one enthusiasts board now, since hmmmmm.... last march! ;)

Nice looking E-Types! I think I recognize that airport fence too.
glad to have you aboard. - WELCOME!

Cheers,
