It's been a busy day today. It's a hard life being forced to drive the Elise :D

Anyway here are some pics:

Looking at the photos I would say that the real color is more subtle than is presented here. I think that the fact that most of the photos have the lazer blue color covering >75% gives a more overpowering impression. In reality I think the surrounding environment helps break up the intensity of the color.

I love it !!! The dark blue interior is very subtle and almost black under some light. I think I'm going to keep it.:)
 Great looking car Shag. Thanks for the pics.

It sure looks super without the star shield. (Assumed because I noticed no sign of it on the back of the passenger mirror). It makes me wonder if I did the right thing opting for it.

Are you still considering doing it after market?
How many miles have you put on it so far?
And did you have to clean it up before the photos after your drive?

(And don't forget to let it idle after each drive early on. That seems to be the verdict on how to avoid the stalling problem.)

Thanks for sharing.

Gil

Edit: BTW, your avatar really does match these photos -- in a number of ways!:D

AW - Star shield is on. It's hardly noticeable except really close up, and then only on the front. They did a pretty good job overall. Some of the areas around the front (esp. lights) have larger bare spots than I would have liked, and there are a couple of small areas that have a few bubbles, but thay are basically underneath the front so are only visible when you get real low.

The photos are untouched except for resizing. Taken with my pretty old (for a digital) Nikon Coolpix 800
You mean that when you get really close to the front side of the mirrors that you can see that the star shield IS there?

Geesh, I gotta get an older camera. :D
Looks great, Alan!!

Thanks for the pics!

Nice color! Congrats!!!

Bring it out to Qualcomm Stadium tomorrow morning. Randy & Robert will be running Randy's Elise. A bunch of us should be there to check out the action.
