I called the dealership and they mentioned the price of $32,990 'assumes a $2,000 equity trade-in'... meaning the actual asking price was $34,990. This policy was 'clearly noted' in little tiny print at the bottom of the page.

That's a new one! Maybe you can take in a used refrigerator. I personally will never buy a car from a lot, no way. Personal one-on-one purchases only where you can meet the owner and evaluate the history of the car. Plus you avoid the always-ignorant used car sleezy sales rap.
