I only have this cautionary tale. I took my Elise to get MD. emissions tested and afterwards for about 20 min the car would sputter after 6,000 RPM's even though it was completely warmed. after the aforementioned time it returned to it's normal operations and I could rev all the way until 8,500 no problem. don't know why but could be their OBDC hookup.

I have cat delete and wont pass without 'help'
Oh. Doubtful you will get any to knowingly give you a pass. You'll have to rely on the operator simply not knowing the car.

Although this past week I had my Honda done in Owings Mills, and the operator never examined the car at all, just did the OBD test.

So visually you might sneak by, but if you throw a code you're screwed.

Nobody has any idea where the cat is on these cars. You should be fine

If you're willing to drive to Arlington Va, there's a place who will "inspect" the car. I don't have a cat delete, but the inspection was less than thorough.

Took my cat delete elise to get emissions done in Rockville, MD. Test resulted "inconclusive". Guy told me I must have had engine work done recently (I did, new cams) and that my car didnt have enough data to give them a report.

Was given a new date in January.
