I have an 08 and while washing today, I noticed that the front (wheel well turn signal) was falling completely off - I touched it and it was hanging by the wire... I had to super glue it in place to go to dinner... Anyone else have this prob?

Heard of the turn signal (common) but not the wheel well one. Maybe worth a quick trip to the dealer to ensure it doesn't keep happening...

I'm the third owner of what I considered an otherwise pristine (and very early) '05 (6k miles). After living with it for a few months, I discovered 3 of the 4 wheel arch marker lights had 1 of the 2 plastic posts broken. I chalked it up to Giles having over-tightened the speed nuts back in '04. I haven't seen any discussion on this in the Forum and assumed the problem had been solved (surely by the '08's).

Same issue with one of my fender lights (passenger front, all plastic posts broken). I used some decent water and frostproof doublesided adhesive tape to fix it. Won't come off even with moderate strenght pulling.

I'm sure the rest have some or a couple of plastic posts broken also ;p

So you guys aren't buying new units, but using double sided tape instead? It's holding okay?
Yeah, still holding. Tried to pull mine now since it's been thru countless washes.. Still won't come off with moderate pulling. Just get some decent quality doublesided tape. I use a transparant 3M adhesive with red covertape on it. Once you apply it and push for 10 seconds, it really sits tight.
