Hello all,

2005 Elise.....5200 miles.

Was washing her this morning and noticed that the top of the headlamp assembly is loose. It should be firmly seated against the body, but the entire assembly, at the top only, pulls out a bit. I am concerned it will eventually come out while driving!

So, I looked at the owner's handbook, and it discusses removing the front wheel to gain access to the headlamp assembly. Is there anything else I should know before I do this? What holds the entire assembly against the body (ie. screw, strap, etc...)?

I am hoping this is an easy fix, such as tightening something or replacing a strap, but.....

I plan on putting it on my lift (the only mod I've made is installing the MWR lift point kit.....great!) to make removal of the wheel easy and to eliminate having to crouch down on the ground to see what I'm doing!!!

Thanks!

Julian

Thanks for such a quick reply and with a video too!

I am betting that, of the 3 knurled screws you point out, the top screw is either loose or has fallen out altogether. Fingers crossed!!
