If you want the closest thing to a Lotus on water then look no further. This is a 18 ft rocket ship, and with 24 degrees of deadrise it will handle like a much larger boat. They built only 5 or 6 Classic 18 ft Donzi's with this engine package. For people who do not know about the Blue Scorpion engine it is 377ci 377 HP hand-built blueprinted and balanced engine from Mercury Racing (read here: gas sterndrive Scorpion 377 - 377 HP Mercury marine engine Scorpion 377 - 377 HP mercruiser marine engine texas gas engine Houston Bullock Marine skater fountain eliminator performance boat boating race boat cigarette racing boats welcraft boat scara ). When new MSRP on these boats was well over $50k in 2002! Comes with 2005 year model dual Axel Integrity Trailer with electric brakes. Only "flaw" is one of the axles on the trailer has some camber, it was checked out before I bought the boat and was told it was OK. There are also two small dings on the trailer on the fenders. ~216 hours, runs 69MPH all day long, my best speed is 72.5 GPS.

Factory Options:

Scorpion/Bravo package
Corsa Quick and Quiet Exhaust
Trim tabs
Dual batteries with cutoff switch (Optima Blue top batteries)
Hour meter
Mechanical trim gauges, very accurate!
Windshield
Cockpit cover (blue, included)

Additions:

Since I have had the boat I have added:

Lightweight aluminum manifolds and risers (I bought them as "GLM" but they did not have GLM stamping on the side like my last set I had, saved about 80+ lbs out of the boat!) ($800)
Corsa slash exhaust tips ($400)
Livorsi side throttle with new zero effort cables (bought from Donzi so it has the Donzi sticker on it) $620 (Throttle $500, Cables $120 + my labor)
Stereo: Pioneer head unit with Sat radio, Kicker Marine 700 Watt Amp with remote bass control located under dash within drivers reach, 4 Kicker LED Marine Speakers (wired into NAV light switch, not on all the time), bass tube sub in ski locker. ($1,500 + my blood and sweat and fiberglass scars)
New "Scorpion" logo on the top of the engine. ($200)
2 x New billet battery boxes ($200)
LED drain plug light, also wired into NAV light switch ($100)
Turbo 25p Prop ($300)

Fluids changed at beginning of seasonMercruiser synthetic engine oil, and Merc drive oil.

This boat kicks ass.
