It's an 05 Superlight R, Orange with black carbon cycle wings, rear fenders and nosecone.

Under 1000 miles, never registered (used at trackdays only) but certainly can be :) .

The engine/transmission package is the 5 speed/ford Zetec America with upgraded cams package, rated at 200 hp give or take. The transmission also has a lengthened first gear to make it a bit more usable.

Unlike most Superlight R's, I also had a standard Caterham weather package fitted, so in addition to the track goodies (13" wheels, yoko 008 tires, wind deflector, snap-on half-doors etc), the car also has the full windscreen, windshield wipers, side curtains, full top and so on, plus an additional set of "prisoner" style 15" wheels and road tires.

Asking $37,500

Pics forthcoming.

Located in Houston, Texas.

 damn that is a beautiful vehicle! and I usually hate CF on anything

Is it wrong that the voice in the back of the mind saying you can't make a caterham a daily driver is just barely managing to make itself be heard :wallbang:

Things like this make me think sanity is overrated.

These things are INSANE ! Don't know about as a track car, but just seeing one on an autocross course, it was something else. Makes the Elise seem pretty staid and sophisticated.

I've been given a ride on the streets/freeway in one of these (but not nearly as nice as this one), and it was truly a blast. Even more "bugs in the teeth" experience than an Elise for sure.

That is beautiful. And I am not into orange paint. I'd have to trade you something though. Do you need a boat? A Honda? A child?

Beautiful 7! Tell me, how does the front end react at high speeds with those windscoop fenders? Regarding track times, can you list the tracks and best times please.

It gets a little light in the front.... I don't have any times from anywhere in CA, but here in TX I have run 1:45 at MSR Houston and 1:52 at TWS (2.9 counterclockwise). A valid comparison MIGHT be 1:25/1:26 at WSIR bigtrack -- at TWS, which is a power track, I was 1 or two seconds off the fastest Viper Racing League prepped Vipers (I turned the 1:52 at a Viperdays weekend) and I think those guys run in the 1:24 range at WSIR (but I could be remembering wrong).
