For Sale
2006 Solar Yellow Lotus Elise

Location: San Antonio, TX

Mileage: 108K
VIN: SCCPC11156HL30549
Title: Clear - Have a loan against it, so it may show up with a lien.
History: 2 minor accidents - Both minor body damage, both replaced with oem parts. Accident 1 was semi truck which gave me a love tap in traffic. Accident 2 was driver who invaded lane and hit passenger door. Entire door was replaced. Besides that this was a daily driver, mostly highway miles. Never tracked besides one drag race in 2010. I bought the car used with 2000 miles on it. Previous owner was a San Antonio Spurs player, or so the Lotus Dealership people told me. Wouldn't tell me who though. If any of you can find that out with the VIN I'd love to know.

Reason Selling: Recently purchased a Tesla Model 3 to transport growing family and now have one too many cars to fit in driveway and garage. It's been a garage queen for the last two years.

New stuff Recently:
Installed new clutch, has about 300 miles on it
Installed new oxygen sensors before and after cat last month
Changed out brake fluid last month

Stuff that's wrong
Temperature sensor is throwing a code. Will probably replace sensor soon if I have no takers for it.
Driver's Side seat is a little worn down, see pictures below
Interior light behind seats keeps popping out.
Missing one screw on gas cap cover. (drives me nuts)

Grey area stuff
The one time I drag raced it the OEM battery tipped over and spilled acid into the trunk. I've since cut out the damaged fiberglass, replaced with sheet metal and heat shielding and put in a sealed deep cycle battery which is now mounted and zipped tied down so that will never ever happen again.

Asking $20k, we can put it into escrow until loan company releases title which should take one or two days.

Possible added bonus: If you live in Texas and like the plates I may be able to transfer them over to you (I have the state issued "ELISE" custom black star plates as well). I've heard transfer is possible, just have to confirm. The plates are paid through and reserved until 2021 I believe.

2 quick questions?

Was the front clam ever replaced or repaired?
I think you have a post dated back in 2017 saying the car had closed to 120k miles?

Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Just be careful. Something doesn't seem right. I hope I'm wrong. Do your due diligence before committing to buy. GLWS

Yes I realize this, I was referring to @Robocop305 post about the OP mentioning 120k miles in 2017. Specifically OP's post on 11-17-2017 that his car had 120k+ miles on it. I simply wanted some clarification about this.
Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread and just thought you missed it.

Sorry I've been extremely busy and this thread wasn't firing off messages to my e-mail or they were being sent to spam. I'll try to check in every day from here on out. Dropping the price to $17500 because AC is not functioning. I've charged it and it leaks. I was asked about photos of the accidents. These accidents were back in like 2013/2014. I'm sure I have photos of the accidents somewhere but I literally have thousands of photos to sort through across multiple hard drives to find them. There was no frame damage what so ever.

You're probably correct. I thought I was at 120k but I was closer to 110k. It has not been driven in a while. Front clam was replaced twice. First time was due to the front plate being too low and ripping off while driving into a bank driveway my first week having it and second one was due to a tire striking the front lip. Don't remember what year honestly it was early on. It was replaced with the OEM part and the entire car had to be painted because of the triple pearl yellow paint. I've also had the windshield replaced after a hipster hit it with a crowbar and drove off.

Ok so just went to the garage and shot some video which might give you guys a better idea about the car.

Part 1

Part 2

Also, sorry about not being super accurate with the mileage. After 100k miles I kinda lost track and I've stopped driving it as much as I used too so in my brain it has more and more mileage the longer I go without driving it. lol
