Such a quick turn around. How well will these hold or appreciate in value as only 25 made.
Other than the paint, these matte versions are nothing more than a standard 240 with an ECU change and some alcantara on base seats. Look at the European and Asian Scura/Stealth as a comparable. At least the Scura/ Stealth had several of the Sport/Cup 260 upgrades. The North American matte final edition doesn't have any. Yet because of the condition of most, the Scura/Stealth have not been selling for more than any other 2010 Exige in their area.

There will be an incremental increase or at least the same value if condition and all other variables are equal, over a standard Exige - but therein lies the question, what is a standard 2011 Exige? Every North American 2011 Exige is a variation of some special edition. There were the Final Editions, matte versions, RGB's and 3 Sport 260's that year. At least all the other versions have individuality when it comes to options, equipment and color. All the matte versions are identical and although there are 25, those won't likely have a unique aspect of collectively since there are some inherent issues with the paint. Original cars command a premium. It will not be easy to find an unrestored example in 15 years since by then the paint will have degraded.

If you are looking for a collectible, the final edition Exiges are not it.

Very good point! Only 3 260 sports came to US?
