I recently upgraded from the base wheels and suspension to the LSS versions. I recommend to others to do so.

I don't know Phil. Just sayin...

serious?

my car looks like a 4x4 with standard suspension, has a good 3 fingers between tyre and guard
That sounds funny.

Seriously, I like the looks of the car at the factory height. Lowering it looks kinda...uh...not good to me. Also, I'm worried that changing the suspension geometry might be bad at autox or the track.

I should have mentioned this in my first post: making the change makes the car more fun, but also louder (I got a bunch of new squeaks and rattles) and bouncy to ride in.

did it lower the ride height of the car at all?
Ride height doesn't change with LSS suspension. Should still be about 130 mm from chassis rails (front and rear) when loaded. Mine was very close to this with these shocks/springs.

If you're not close to those measurements with your current setup you'd need get a new alignment with the LSS set.

I think I may have taken these off of Phil's hands-

Could some1 please help me find a thread on DIY suspension upgrade?

I found some good information on alignment once the shocks are installed-

Thank you!
