I dont think that would work on the lotus anyway. I just use proper technique and a paper towel from the station.

Ferrari has used this for years, works quite well, don't know if this one is supposed to stow inside the gas flap as it does on Ferraris, but it's pretty tight in there on the elise

I figured since the lotus door doesnt have a latch on it and there's not alot of room, this thing would constantly fall out.

Yeah, I have one from Griot's Garage on my car. Works great.
