Last month I had to take my ECU out to get it re-flashed. I left the battery disconnected while the ecu was out.

when everything was put back together now my gauge cluster is not working. Fuel level, odometer.

Any thoughts or am i screwed

I have a similar issue on a replacement gauge/needles on my Elise. Everything seemed fine but had to have the ECU reflashed.

Needles now reset to well below zero. I've tried two dozen resets and they go to the same place. Apart from the needle orientation everything seems to function.

Are the needles keyed or is it possible they were installed incorrectly?

Is it possible the flash affected calibration?

It has been a year since I had my cluster apart, but I believe there is a built in "stop" at the needle motor.
So when installing the needles, you need to push them on at a position > than the zero point.
Once the needles are pushed on, rotate them downward towards the zero mark on the dial.
When you go over that mark, you need to restart or rotate the needles a full 360 degrees.
