So, when I ran the CarFax on the S240 I just bought, It showed 5 owners. However it seemed to show dealership ownership/exchanges? Or I could be wrong.
But it showed first owner had 2 weeks and added just over 400 miles?.
The 2nd owner looked normalish with @2,300 miles in a little over 2 years..
3rd owner owned just under a year and [email protected] 200 miles on it.
4th was normal with @2,000 miles in a year.
the 5th owner owned 8 years.. normal loved baby! :)

I guess looking closer, just the 1st owner would be my question... could it have been a press car? Would the Lotus history service know whether it was a press car? I only ask because there were so few out there and the super short exchange..

But I guess it could just be the 1st owner wasn't the "boy racer" they thought they were! And same for the 3rd owner!!

I don’t know that Lotus had many press cars then. It is very possible that the person who first bought it, drove it and realized how small and vulnerable the car can be. I know the first time I drove an Elise it was eye-opening.

I owned a 08 240 that was a press car. Blue one. If you have a blue one it might be my old car.
