Hello,
I'm Erik and my Lotus Europa S2 from 1971 is being restored. I would like to have it painted in the Gold Leaf colors of Team Lotus, just as the racing Lotus Europa, the Lotus 47. In the early 90's an Elise S1 (type 49) was produced by Lotus in the Gold Leaf colors.
Can anyone supply me with the exact colortype and colorcodes of that car?
Hereby a few photos of my Lotus Europa before its restoration.
Thanks for helping me out with the colors.
Erik

Welcome to LotusTalk

That interior photo doesn't show a lot of restoration needed - it looks great!

As for info on S1s you will find more on the UK forum SELOC | Lotus Enthusiasts Club as the S1 was not exported to the US (where most on here are based)

The car looked OK on a picture, but when you look closely at the body, you can tell the GPR bodywork of the 60's and early 70's wasn't hight tech stuff. I was astonished when the car was stripped! Lots of unseen fissures, cracks, stars, etc. Now I want to have it done right, altough the costs are rising and rising. Did't get any further on the Gold Leaf colours, though. Still looking.
Thanks for the reply.
Kind regards
Erik
