Dealer called with great info.

Picked it up Saturday!

Only had time to put a few miles on it but wow what a car. Can't wait to get through break-in and really drive it.

I was anticipating spring next year but an opportunity arose and I took it. Luckily I sold my Defender and had the cash in the bank.

I am happy the wait is over.

Ardent Red, Touring, Hardtop, Starshield.

Beautiful! Congrats. How much did it cost you? I'm not going to knock you. And you're driving that beauty today because of capitalism. Again, congrats!

Paid $1500 over MSRP. Actually I really liked the way this was handled. I was on the list at Sports & Specialist Cars from early this year. I was in the next batch of order frames (due to be filled soon). They had a fall through -- someone had to pass on the car. They could have taken it to the open market and picked up a few extra bucks but they did [IMHO] a good thing -- they offered it to their existing customers.
cograt's on the new baby!! did sports and specialist cars charge you $300 for PDI or documentation fee? because i'm picking mine up there soon and this is what they told me today. thanks.

Congrats on the new car. Still waiting for my Storm Titanium from S&S. What # were you on the list. Just curious if they're going down the list in order and giving us the opportunity to get an Elise sooner.

Not sure I would've taken an Ardent Red...but maybe if they called me!!! Anyway...car looks great!!!

Thanks Scott!

You're picking up soon and you know it. Can't fathom that...are you sleeping nights?

Yes, paid the PDI ($300) and Doc ($75). When I buy an average car (where I loose a few grand as I drive off the lot) I'd argue misc fees away but I didn't here.
