I do the same with my Exige, especially for kids. It makes them smile and their parents very happy.

I've always believed this. That's why if I'm at a show and people are genuinely interested I'm more than happy to have people get in and take pictures in the drivers seat. I'm also interested in having kids get in too. I want them to get and stay interested in cars so that we can continue to have a car culture in the future. Gotta get them started young. Other wise we'll just end up with a society of Uber riders that don't know or care about cars.

That's heartwarming, I recall once at the Pebble Beach Concours in the mid-1990s we were admiring a very rare Ferrari 250 when my daughters were very young.

The owner kindly opened the door and invited my daughters to sit in the car disregarding the fresh-cut grass stuck to their Mary Janes.
