Thanks for posting the video link.


It was a good weekend in the USA for Lotus/racing fans, especially in light of the snowstorm that socked in the NY metro area:

TMC (Turner Movie Classics) had John Frankenheimer's Grand Prix on.

And Pretty Woman was showing on Oxygen network.

I didn't leave the couch for hours. In Grand Prix, it was fascinating to see the shifting/clutchwork in the race scenes, wasn't it? For darn sure, they didn't use traction control back then.

They hired real F-1 drivers to shoot the footwork. I have not found a reference which identifies which drivers did that part of the shoot. Anyone? :shrug:
