So I found these two guys in the boot - anyone have an idea what these are and what they're for? 2006 Exige.

Quarter for reference size:

Seeing as how they're not mounted on your rails (under the trailing edge of both, with the ends arranged inwards towards the centerline of the seat), I am willing to venture a guess that...

1) You have two dimples in the aluminum pan / underbelly directly below your driver's side rear seat rails, or...
2) your vehicle is equipped with a Sector SysPack, or...
3) For some random reason, you have an extra pair of those pieces.

I installed my new seat recently without this bracket and it was unusable. The rail wasn't locking properly. Unsafe without this.
