We are all bored since we havent heard anything official about how the allocation will be determined or when the cars are being delivered. The semi-official date was 4/4/04 but I think that's too soon.

Lets see who can guess when the first person will take delivery of their car.

The latest word I've heard is first 10 on the list will see their cars late April. I know this is way earlier that had originally been thought but it is the guidance I've been given as of today.

Also another tidbit: 1200 cars total for 2004 for 30 cars per dealer I'm not sure what is to become of the extra cars as the math doesn't quite add up.

And at the show I was told dealer demo car (1) comes in May. Balance of first group of orders comes in June. I guess somewhere around June 10 we'll know. Perhaps a bribe to a factory worker will get info on when the boat is being loaded.

This matches what Clyde indicated at the show. At #16, he said I would NOT be getting a car in June, but later in the summer. After that, cars should start coming quicker as productions hits full stride.

I am #107 at Fox Valley Motorcars in Chicago.
Just got an email from my dealer, he said they already
started taking orders. He said that my order will most likely
be taken in April and I will have the car by year end.
Hoping for a nice birthday present (November 26th)!
He also said they will have a car at the Chicago auto show but
most likely it will not be a US spec version
