So I was getting ready to put on some new wheels and just happened to noticed the part where the cable cover line sits on the hangar has started to look worn out probably from vibration. Is this an urgent need to replace? Can I wrap it up for now to prevent further damage? Have never had issues with my handbrake. Driver side looks more worst for wear than passenger side. TIA for your input.

Mine looked identical to your drivers’ side on both sides, I ended up replacing mine and put plastic wire loom around those spots. I don’t know if it’s urgent. Got my replacement from SeriouslyLotus.

Thanks for sharing Falsey. I think I will just wrap it up for now as it looks to still be intact and covered. Probably tackle this job when the weather gets a little warmer. Good advice on the wire loom, and I'll probably put some duct tape on the hangars as well to lessen the vibration for the time being. Thanks for the heads-up purchasing it from SerioulsyLotus. Appreciate it.
