Apparently in a sudden protest in the name of good taste 23 hardtops that were allocated to be sprayed chrome orange have fled the Lotus Hethel factory. Witenesses reported at least one hardtop was carrying a sign that read “I’d rather be painted Harrods green than Chrome Orange”.
Lotus officials are denying the report.
