just out of curiosity, has anyone done any acceleration testing..:)
anybody have a "g-timer" to see what the 0-60 times are, and has anyone done a quarter mile yet??
looking for some real world figures rather than relying on magazines....

The magazines use AMCI for testing. I have talked to the guys who did the testing. I know them very well and they are MUCH more consistent than I would be and they use much more sophisticated equipment than the g-tech.

There are other variables such as temps, air density, altitude, and most importantly... surface grip..all of which will affect tested times from one magazine or driver to another.
i know...thats why i wanna see if people on this board have any times they can share....gives me a better expectation for what the car will do....
the g timer is actually pretty damn accurate though...
and its consistent which is more important to see if ur getting any gains through practice or mods...
I guess I don't see how other times would mean much since you are a different driver running under different conditions...
What do you think the 0-60 is going to tell you? Apart from your clutch still has some life left? Try AX or track times for a better representation of the cars (and yours) performance.
i was expecting the 0-60 time to tell me just that, the 0-60 time...
i dont always get a chance to make it to a roadrace course, but 0-60 is pretty easy.....
thats all....im not tyin to get anyones panties in a bunch over it.
:)
