VSA motorsports in the valleySo... who in SoCal is the go to guy for some track prep advise for the s240?
Hmm... Weekdays are pretty tough for me.hey Sek, hopefully if you're around on thursday you can make it to the K&F meet in lakewood. Details are in the socal forums.
As far as track prep, i think you're on the right track. baffled oil pan, toe links (although I believe your car has the track bar), fuel surge tank for fuel starvation issues. Adjust your suspension and alignment and you're probably good to go.
Thanks. Camera does a good job of hiding imperfection. LolNow that is SWEET!
Sure. I'll drop by if I get a chance.ok, well its too bad, if you end up having time feel free to drop by.
We had a local member who had the same car, he had some fuel starvation issues on stock A048 tires in long sweepers. I'm no authority on the subject but i think its a really bad thing for FI cars, might be something you can look into if you have slicks.
Cool. I'll have to check out C&C.Hey Welcome (I'm new around here too) but just a FYI, there is a Cars and Coffee meet coming up this Saturday. Look for detail in the meets section and hopefully there will be quite a few LT members as this will be my first meet.

P.s. I still have my old 300zx TT and I will be doing a track day with the Z a few Z guys in march at chuckwalla. I may still take the Lotus as i need new turbos in the Z.. but the plan is to track the Z.. Extreme speed is the organizer and its cheap ($120 with timing?)
I have done a few track days with them with my Z. They are as good as speed ventures for about half price. You get a lot of guys in each run group and there are always idiots that won't let you by but its a fun way to blow a weekend.Cool. I'll have to check out C&C.
Have you tracked with Extreme Speed much? How do you like them? 120 is very reasonable.

Thanks for
I also need to get a oil pan and surge tank. I think the oil pan is more critical but you would need to ask the track rats here on LT as I'm still new.
If all goes according to plan, I should be tracking my Exige next year. I'll keep the Z till then and turn it in for a SC..
