I bought my Lotus from someone in Ontario, and went to Scotti to check with them what it looks like in term of maintenance and see if there were any Montreal / QC lotus owner club.
He told me I should have got in touch with him before buying my Elise. He knows a few customers that might sell their car, but just don't advertise for it.
Also, if you are very serious about buying one, I would definitively give him your phone number. He might find you the perfect car for you
