Greetz ya all

My name is Joseph and reside momentarily in Heidelberg - Germany!
I am an architect, love to ride my Suzuki GSX-R 600 on Track Days, and hunt curves with my car! :p

Because of the good curves* that surround us and my un-treatable love to sports bikes & cars, I decided to order a LOTUS EXIGE CUP 260 :D
(Been dreaming about a LOTUS since ever)

I also spend my time mountainbiking, roadcycling, shooting semi-pro pics and photoshopping (Adobe CS3) :crazyeyes

My current car is a 2006 MINI COOPER S with JCW Modifications (My First and probably last wrong wheeler) HEHEHE!

Hopefully, I will be able to help and be helped in this forum :)

Regards,

carreracaballo

I've been to Heidelberg several times and played a few paintball tournaments there as well back in the early 90's... Nice place to live... :D

Hope you enjoy your new Exige. I know there are a lot of really nice roads for you to hit up in that area...

The roads in that Odenwald are very fun. Think I recall a great bar in Ober-Ramstadt... :D

Heidelberg is a beautiful place. Even better place to own an Exige S260! I lived in Bavaria (Garmisch) for a couple of years and enjoyed getting out to drive. Mountain biking was lots of fun too.

WOW you lived in Garmisch Partenkirchen :)
One of the nicest places in Germany,
I usually go there to ski :)

Maybe I can refresh your memory with those pics ;)

I do miss it!! Thanks for sharing the pics. I still have friends who live there and in Munchen. I lived in the far west side of the city, near Grainau. My daughter was born at the Klinikum Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

So now you have one more reason to come and visit :)

Back to Lotus:

Do you have a soundfile for your BORLA Exhaust,
and probably a good website or address where I can buy one?

Thx,

Joseph

Thank you for sharing the addresses :)

I will look into it,
did the exhaust fit without any major modifications,
like bending etc . . . ?

The exhaust fit fine; however, I had to do a minor modification to my catalytic converter -- cut off approximately 1.5cm so that my exhaust would line up properly in the center. Not sure if you will have to do this or not.

I lived in Northern Bavaria (Ansbach) for 3.5 years. My daughter was born in Nürnberg. I have family in Ansbach and in Heidelberg. My niece sent me some pictures that her husband took last Tuesday (5/19/09) in Hockenheim at the DTM.

Nice Pics,
one good thing about Heidelberg in Summer,
EYE CANDIES are everywhere :) :) :)

My best buddy lived 2 Years in Ansbach,
Apache Pilot, now he is living in Heidelberg, 1 block away :)

@MightyMike

I do not think that the stock catalytic converters would bother me,
since I will be replacing them with sport cats!

My niece's husband works at the US military base in Heidelberg. He's a civilian employee and was a captain before he left the army.
Was your friend at one of the military bases in Ansbach? I was stationed at Barton Barracks. My wife was a German national so my two oldest children are dual citizens (US - German).
